It's easy to catch a bus from here and obtain tickets to explore the stunning Mt. Emei scenic area. The village boasts numerous dining options and accommodations, ensuring you'll never go hungry or be without a comfortable place to stay. Additionally, the village serves as a gateway to the forest, with plenty of walking trails leading directly into nature. Fuhu Temple is also in close proximity, offering an additional cultural and spiritual experience. 🏨 I had the pleasure of staying at Jiran Boutique Guesthouse, and I can't recommend it enough. The rooms were equipped with fantastic baths, allowing for a rejuvenating soak after a day of hiking. The terrace, surrounded by nature, provided a tranquil setting to unwind and relax. The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting me in planning my hiking routes to make the most of my two-day stay. ♥️ 🏞️For an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend staying in Baoguo Temple Village. It's the perfect base to return to after a day of hiking, offering a peaceful retreat and top-notch amenities. 🚕 To reach Baoguo Temple Village from the main train station, it's a convenient and affordable journey. A taxi ride takes just around 8 minutes, and the fare is approximately 10 RMB. This short distance ensures a smooth and hassle-free transition from the train station to the village. 🍜While visiting Baoguo Temple Village, be sure to stop by the delicious restaurant located right beside the Baoguo Temple bus station. Not only will you be treated to incredible sweet and sour noodles, but you'll also have the opportunity to meet Nathan, an experienced hiking guide with a wealth of knowledge. Nathan, who works at the restaurant, is known for his excellent command of the English language.

🏔️ Mount Emei Mount Emei, standing in the southwestern part of the Sichuan Basin, is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, a national scenic area, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site, and a World Heritage site for both nature and culture. Its main peak, Wanfo Top, is 3099 meters above sea level. From the foot to the top of the mountain, there are cascading waterfalls and flowing springs, and the scenery is serene. It has long been known as 'Emei the Beauty under Heaven'. ⛰️ Main Attractions: ☀️ Baoguo Temple At the foot of Mount Emei, it is the largest temple on the mountain and also the gateway to climbing it, serving as the starting point for a visit to Mount Emei. ㅤ☀️ Fuhu Temple One kilometer to the left of Baoguo Temple, across the Tiger Stream's three bridges, is Fuhu Temple. The temple buildings are hidden in the dense forest, hence the name 'Fuhu Hidden in the Dense Forest'. ㅤ☀️ Hongchunping Surrounded by mountains and lush forests, with fresh air, Hongchunping is the best summer retreat in the mountains. The misty forest haze floats around, and the early morning mist and drizzle in the hot summer are known as 'Hongchun Morning Rain'. ㅤ☀️ Wanfo Top There is a copper temple built here, and from the side of the temple, you can observe the four wonders of the Golden Summit—sunrise, sea of clouds, Buddha's light, and divine lamp. The most magical is the 'Buddha's light', which can sometimes be seen when the wind is calm and the sun is bright, usually after two or three o'clock in the afternoon. Looking down from the Sheshen Rock on the Golden Summit, one may see a colorful halo floating in the clouds with their own shadow in the center, moving with the person without separation. ㅤ☀️ Wannian Temple Wannian Temple was originally built during the Jin Dynasty and contains a beamless brick hall with a bronze statue of Samantabhadra riding an elephant that is over one meter tall. ㅤ🏃🏻‍♀️ There are two conventional tourist routes for Mount Emei: 1️⃣ Jieyindian → Golden Summit → Huazang Temple → Woyun Nunnery → Wanfo Top → Leidongping → Wannian Temple → Qingyin Pavilion → Heilongjiang Plank Road → Emei Skyline → Baoguo Temple; 2️⃣ Enter the scenic area from the entrance of the Emei Mountain Individual Visitor Service Center. 🏔️ Mt. Emeishan in Sichuan is an absolute paradise for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers. The stunning landscape, adorned with beautiful temples, leaves a lasting impression. The 9 bends and the monkey ecological center are particularly captivating. Walking alongside the river and through the gorges is a breathtaking experience, although be prepared for the challenge of navigating thousands upon thousands of steps. 🥾 I embarked on a 10-hour hike from Baoguo Temple to Wannian Temple, maintaining a steady pace throughout. Along the way, I made sure to visit each temple, but my personal favorite was the enchanting Yixintian with its gorgeous garden at the back. With snack and noodle shops conveniently located along the route, I didn't have to pack an excessive amount of provisions. 🚌 It's important to note that buses depart from Wannian and Leidongping promptly at 6 pm, so proper timing is crucial. I highly recommend this hiking experience, but be cautious about carrying plastic bags, as the monkeys can be aggressive. The terrain is awe-inspiring, with misty clouds floating around ancient trees of various species. If you have a deep appreciation for hiking and nature, Mt.
