In the Tibetan language, it is called Jiaji Mountain. When those characters are transliterated to Mandarin, the pronunciation becomes "Jiajin Mountain", with various Mandarin characters used to represent the "Jia" phoneme. In the Tibetan language, its name implies that the mountain is very tell and steep. The mountain belongs to the Qionglai Mountain Range and is located in southeast Xiaojin County, running horizontally between Dawei Town in Xiaojin County and Baoxing County in Ya'an Prefecture. Jiajin Mountain is the birthplace of the Qingyi River, which rushes turbulently between the steep cliffs of the mountain. Wild animals and plants can be seen everywhere, forming a lush landscape that will leave you longing to be closer to nature. It is also the only path for inhabitants of Ya'an to make their way to Xiaojin County's Siguniang Mountain (Four Ladies Mountain).
