Jiajin Mountain, also known as "Jiajin Mountain", is called "Jiaji" in Tibetan, and Jiajin is a transliteration, which means high and steep. Located in the southeast of Xiaojin County, it belongs to the Qionglai Mountains, lying between Dawei Township in Xiaojin County and Baoxing County in Ya'an Region, with an altitude of 4124 meters. Jiajin Mountain is also the birthplace of the Qingyi River. The turbulent flow, steep cliffs on both sides, deep valleys and gorges, clear lakes, splashing waterfalls, and wild animals and plants can be seen everywhere, forming a natural landscape that people yearn for. This is also the only way from Ya'an to the Little Golden Siguniang Mountain. Jiajin Mountain is the first snow-capped mountain climbed on foot by the Chinese Workers and Peasants' Red Army's Long March. On the afternoon of June 12, 1935, under the leadership of head Wang Kaixiang and political commissar Yang Chengwu, the 2nd Division and 4th Regiment of the First Army of the Red Army overcame all difficulties and finally successfully crossed Jiajin Mountain from Qiaoqi Township at the southern foot of Jiajin Mountain. A part of the 74th Regiment of the 25th Red Division on the mission met in the Mujigoukou area of Dawei Township at the foot of the mountain. The unexpected meeting laid the foundation for the successful meeting of the two main forces of the Red Army, the First and Fourth Front Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.
