It is a little shopping area with some of your favorite western brands (Starbucks being mine). It's beautifully decorated around a little pond. Makes you feel like you're in a bigger city for a moment, but still with the views of the mountains you came to the area to see.

We had heard a lot about West street and granted we were visiting at Christmas. Daytime it’s a dreary place and at nighttime tacky, but if you like that sort of thing, the surrounding streets are also...
I came here 10 years ago and it was nice, this time i was surprised how it had become a little Pattaya, lots of clubs which is great if you want that. I won't come back to West street.
I was in 2008 in yangshuo and the west street was a cute little village street, now it turned in to a overrun commercial spot with lot of useless shops.. don’t waste your time to come here
After more than 1400 years, West Street is the oldest bustling street in Yangshuo and one of the important tourist attractions in Yangshuo. West Street is a collection of vocabulary such as foraging, shopping, and clubbing. It is so colorful that it has become a unique and beautiful landscape of Yangshuo. The street with
less than 1km is made of stone slabs and has a curved S shape. The houses on both sides are simple and elegant. It is styled in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in northern Guangxi, with small blue tiles, sloping roofs, whitewashed walls and hanging balconies.
The street is full of various tourist souvenirs. The shops on both sides are both Chinese and Western. Almost all the signs are in Chinese and English. The waiters can serve the tourists with fluent foreign languages.
The main street can be said to be full of people. There is a street with beautiful lanterns on the corner. It is a food street in West Street. We decided to have dinner here.
Because I have already eaten beer fish, I picked some other features and tried the local characteristics of Tianluo and Yaoshan chicken. The result was unexpectedly delicious. Yaoshan chicken got my mother's praise. The
restaurant also has a singer from a foreign brother, singing Chinese in Chengdu, which is wonderful.

Take a walk to the West Street in Yangshuo. After the rain, take a seat at the An An Bar at the corner of the street and listen to the story of the singer.
Looking at the people coming out of the window, the ordinary person you passed by may be someone else who dreams of seeing.
There are a lot of bars in the West Street, and the walls facing the street are all changed to glass. The wines are all sitting on the side. There is a clear bar opposite the restaurant where the friend went straight to dinner. At the intersection of West Street, there is a singer singing, no wine tray and minimum consumption. It is called An An, a very literary name.

a journey of mountains and rivers, the West Street at night, is a song singing a bustling and joyful.
West Street has been the oldest and most prosperous street in Yangshuo for more than 1400 years. Some ancient buildings are relatively well preserved and one of the important tourist attractions in Yangshuo.
Legend has it that in the early days, it was once half-agricultural and semi-agricultural in which the village was half-storey, but the business could be cultivated. Therefore, Western tourists showed their simple and elegant residences and traditional culture and folk customs. A strong interest has attracted countless tourists.
Yangshuo's West Street can be a variety of styles, but also a petty bourgeoisie! Visitors from all over the world, a variety of bars, small Chinese handicrafts, and Chinese specialties are all gathered here~

Its worth going. I think most towns have this sort of walking street with all the restaurants and curio shops. It's nice if you are looking for something fun to do that's not in nature but you can still see the mountains. And there are some unique activities like wax figures of yourself or feet cleaning by the little fish. Or if you want the choice of some Western food or Local dishes.
Small little town to grab a bite, drink or buy some items.
We all know that New York is called the city that never sleeps. West Street in Yangshuo is a street that never sleeps. As weird as it might sound it’s the truth. Be it during the day or night this street is always buzzing. Whether you’re a foodie, a local or just looking for a night out, this is definitely the place to be. You’d be surprised by the amount of small food stores, hotels, gift shops and even night bars that surrounds this beautiful mountain city. Make sure you add this amazing city to your list of places to see when in Guilin. So far it’s been my favorite city in China. Traveling within Yangshou is fairly easy. Rental bikes or tour busses can take you almost anywhere you want. Head out to West Street for the time of your life.
A great place to stay with many shops and restaurants. You must try the beer fish which is really delicious. There are many beer fish shops but 大师傅 is the best
