Tianning Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty during the Zhenguan period. It is not only a birthplace of Buddhist music but also one of the large temples in Changzhou. The Tianning Pagoda in the temple was built in 2007 and is one of the landmarks of Changzhou. Guanyin Hall and Dizang Hall stand to the east and west sides of the Daxiong Hall. The northern end of Tianning Temple is Tianning Pagoda functioning as a Buddhist Museum with different themed Buddhist displays on each story, such as Buddha statues, totems and root carvings.
Beautiful wood carved Buddahs. The Pagoda is a must... Take your time to visit this impressive site.
Tianning Temple is easy to be reached by taxi or bus. Worth taking a short while around and then making your way into the main attraction area. I particularly enjoyed the vibrant colors and the atmosphere around the area. A small natural area surrounds the park where you can relax for a few minutes before making your way back to the relevant transport destinations.
The atmosphere is magnificent, the local tyranny is full, surrounded by Hongmei Park, just met the activities during the 38th Festival, women compatriots visit free. Great value. Thank you for your hospitality and the top to observe the first high clock.
Changzhou Tianning Temple To Address: No. 636, Yanling Middle Road, Tianning District, Changzhou Tianning Temple in Changzhou is very influential in the Buddhist world and is also one of the national key protected temples. It was built in the Tang Dynasty and has been around for more than 1,300 years. Even Lord Qianlong has been here many times. It is said that the more famous the temple, the more prosperous the incense. I also went in early. I remember that it occupies a lot of space. The hotel that happened to be staying in this time was nearby. I wanted to see it, but I didn't expect the temple to close at 4pm. The temple is adjacent to Hongmei Park, so I circled the yellow wall in the park. I feel that the wall has also been renovated. The colors are very bright and the visual sense is good. There is a large parking lot near the temple, which is more convenient. If you get here, if you turn the temple and the park together, you can turn around for a long time. The park does not charge tickets, and the monastery charges.
Just met the half price ticket of March. Tianning Tower is very good for precious cultural relics and objects. On it, you can overlook the Changzhou city and see the whole view of Hongmei Park. The Grand Pavilion is majestic and magnificent. Not many people are very comfortable.
