Built in the 8th and 9th centuries, Borobudur is located in Indonesia (central Java) and covers an area of 2,500 square meters. The name means the stupa on the hill in Sanskrit. It is the largest Buddhist architectural site in the world, and the Great Wall, the Taj Mahal and the Angkor Wat are called the Four Wonders of the Ancient East. The stupa was built from local volcanic rocks and has a total of 504 Buddha statues. The building has ten floors and three parts, which are the desireless world (filled with various desires), the color circle (pursuing sensory enjoyment) and the sublimation of the colorless world (to get rid of the flesh and pursue spiritual pleasure). Climbing up the corridor, you can see countless mural carvings along the way, mainly recording the life of the society at that time, the craftsmanship is exquisite, mainly showing the evil and bad news, the good and good news theme. [Traffic: Take the 2A bus from the city to Jombor Bus Terminal, then get off and see a lot of buses to Borobudur, fare 25
