Iron Gate Pass

The iron gate gate, located at the foot of Guishan Mountain in Wuhan City, was built in the Three Kingdoms period, and it was an important military fortress until the Tang Dynasty. The fire destroyed it in the Ming Dynasty. The iron gate gate was rebuilt in 1990.

The Three Kingdoms Xiongguan-Hanyang Iron Gate Guan stands between Hanyang Qingchuan Pavilion and Guishan Shandong Pavilion. It is simple and elegant and magnificent. This is both a building and a place name. In the first year of Wu Jiaxuan in the Three Kingdoms (232), Lushan was occupied by Sun Wu. So Wu ruled the city of Yuyue and Lushan City for Shiyang County. In order to keep this strategic place, Sun Wu's army built an iron gate gate on the Yangtze River near Guishan Mountain. This iron gate is majestic and strong, easy to guard and attack; Cao Wei in the north can be prevented, and Han Han in the west can be prevented. Sun Quanling Lu Tingting, Lu Xun, Zhuge Tingting led the troops to station to arrive at Wei Tingting.

It is with Qingchuan Pavilion and can be visited together. The city building can be boarded up. It is said that the three countries have it, and now this is rebuilt. You can see the TV tower on the upper floor of the city, and overlook the buildings along the Qingchuan Pavilion.

More than 2,000 years ago, in order to fight the need of Wu Guo in order to effectively stop the Wei Guo offensive, there was a reference to this, then the iron gate gate is about 50 meters north of the gate site (Qingchuan Holiday Hotel West Gate), the south of the gate is connected to Ximachang Street, left Dabie Mountain, right control Yu Gongji.
