The Museum of Brokenhearted Love is located in the old town of Zagreb Hill. It is a very special museum. Most of the exhibits are the estrangements given to each other by former lovers. There are books, baseball caps, Teddy bears, photos and so on. In fact, I feel bored here. Europeans really think differently from us. It's always weird. It's not very recommended here.
There are three lovelorn museums all over the world, one of which is in Zagreb. All the exhibits are related to the lovelorn. To tell you the truth, I don't feel much about such a museum, because what is on display in the museum is not important. What is important is the story behind each item. You need to calm down and be patient to see it.
It's definitely innovative and different than any other museum. I still think it's a little bit cheesy but I kinda like it.So many people brought some things from their relationship that I actually think it's kind of cool, too. It's like a part of our life...really good designed. Very interesting, too.
I think this place is actually so cool. It's definitely something new to see. Although it look kind of cheesy I actually love it! It's a really cool place to visit and also kind of sad and funny at the same time. But you should definitely visit this, if you ever find yourself in Croatia.I recommend!!!
Time did not go in to see, hovering around the door, taking pictures and punching cards. It's said that it's all kinds of love stories. I still don't want to put my postcards on the good [naughty] windowsill with a dull mood. I guess it's a simple and crude propaganda that passers-by take at will. It's very close to the beautiful St. Mark's Church. It's about a minute's walk.
The end of a relationship (romantic or otherwise) is always life changing, but people shy away from talking about these things... This museum is full of shared stories behind symbols of relationships that are now over. I first saw an exhibition by them on their world tour and it was nice to see their permanent space! They have a cafe as well with wifi. The stories are sometimes funny, sometimes sad, really nice space and they change the objects every now and then. Admission price is very reasonable. They've become very popular!
What started as a personal project by a former couple is now a collection of objects from failed relationships worldwide. It may seem cheesy on the surface, but this museum is actually a funny, morose and poignant collection of items and accompanying stories that will make you reflect on your own relationships of yore. It’s a wonderful case study in just how similar people and relationships all of the world really are. Bring tissues.
This museum is worth traveling for. If there is just one place that should be visited in Zagreb, this is it. Not only the exhibit is organized in a clever, engaging way, but the actual message is incredibly interesting. It takes at least 2 hours to go through everything - and yet, those two hours go by incredibly fast. An absolute must.
