Dajingmen, a national key cultural relics protection unit. Located at the northern end of Zhangjiakou City, built in Chonghuai 17 (AD 1644) has a history of more than 350 years. Dajingmen is one of the four gates in the Great Wall of China, and has a historical significance.
A good place for citizens to relax. After the ancient pedestrian street is built, it is still not lively.
The Great Land Gate is a special gateway in the many pass of the Great Wall of China. It has been listed as important gateway as Shanhaiguan, Juyong Pass and Jiayu Pass in the academic circles at home and abroad. The entrance of the Great Wall in China is called "Guan" and "Kou", and only the entrance of Zhangjiakou is called "Jingmen", which contains the charm of "Shang Culture" and "Wu Culture", and also flows the historical origin of national fusion. From the Ming Dynasty Longqing 5 years, Zhangjiakou Dajingmen Yuanbaoshan area, gradually formed in history called "gong city" and "tea horse mutual market" border trade market. Livestock, fur, medicinal herbs, woolen goods, silverware and other products from the Mongolian steppe and European hinterland were replaced here by silk, tea, china and sugar, and outside the Great Border Gate became the inland port of the international barter trade in the north of China. The feudal dynasty bounded the Great Wall and the Gates, and the foreigners who did business could only trade outside the city. In 1927, the four large characters of the "great river and mountain" written by the governor of the Ministry of justice, Gao Wei, were powerful and spectacular, and the style of the gate was added.
