Liqiao Tower is located in the west of the First People's Hospital on Chengzhong Road, Duanzhou District. This is the entrance to the former site of Zhaoqing Mansion, which was built in 1118. Gu Duanzhou was once the fief of Zhao Ji of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty. After Zhao Ji succeeded to the throne, he personally gave a book to this place as "Zhaoqing Mansion". The local defenders built a high platform in front of the mansion to enshrine this imperial book, so this building is also called "Yushulou".

Local people in Zhaoqing call it the Red House. It was built in the Song Dynasty and was the entrance to the Zhaoqing government office at that time. It was renamed Liqiao House during the reconstruction in the Ming Dynasty. Now the archway was rebuilt in the 1950s, and only the high platform is downstairs. It is a relic of the Ming Dynasty. The upper floor is now also the Zhaoqing City Museum, which exhibits grand plans about Zhaoqing's history and future development. It takes about half an hour to visit.
Zhaoqing City Cultural Relics Protection Unit. It is located in the old town of Zhaoqing, at the entrance of the old Zhaoqing government office. It was built in the first year of Song Zhonghe (1118). Gu Duanzhou was once the fief of Zhao Ji of the Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty. After Zhao Ji succeeded to the throne, he wrote the book "Zhaoqing Mansion" at the request of Guangdong Tongguan Yanying. The guards built a high platform in front of the government office and built buildings on it to enshrine the imperial books, which became the gate tower of the government office, called the "Yushulou". Tomorrow Shun 6th year (1462) county guard Huang Yu will be renamed Liqiaolou when it is rebuilt. The building has a bronze kettle hourglass, a Qianning bronze bell, and a big rattan drum to tell the time. When Emperor Yongli of the Southern Ming Dynasty, Zhu Youlang became emperor, this building was converted into Yongming Palace. At the beginning of 1926, the building was the resident of the team directly under the Ye Ting Independence Regiment.
The environment is beautiful and the air is fresh, suitable for hanging out.
