Zhenjiang | City Forest, Nanshan Scenic Area
Compared to the more famous Sanshan, there are fewer tourists from other places here, and it feels more like a suburban park for local friends.
The Nanshan Scenic Area is a national 4A scenic spot, roughly divided into three parts: the Wenyuan Area, the Bamboo Forest Area, and the Zhaoyin Area.
The three parts of the scenic area are interconnected, and my tour route was Wenyuan-Bamboo Forest-Zhaoyin.
Wenyuan
A theme park built to commemorate Liu Xie's 'Wenxin Diaolong', there aren't many highlights, but occasionally there are themed exhibitions in the park.
Bamboo Forest
Not far from Wenyuan, you can see the gate of the Bamboo Forest Area. Named after the Bamboo Forest Temple, there are some steles, ruins, and it is also from here that you start climbing the mountain to go to the Zhaoyin Area.
Zhaoyin
The core area of Nanshan, and also the largest of the three areas. It is famous because the renowned artist of the Southern Dynasties, Dai Yong, chose to live in seclusion here. During the Liang Dynasty, Prince Zhaoming, Xiao Tong, studied here and compiled the first anthology of Chinese literature, 'Zhaoming Wenxuan', which has a deep historical and cultural significance. The natural scenery is mainly mountainous, supplemented by attractions such as the Tiger Running Spring, Pearl Spring, and stone archways.
After leaving the Zhaoyin Area, near the north gate is a flower market, which is very lively on weekends and holidays. It's also quite nice to stroll around inside.
Ticket price: 40 yuan (30 in the off-season). Compared to the three mountains in the north, there aren't many highlights here. The Zhaoyin Area might be worth a visit, but the other two don't have much content.
The place is very large, and I haven't finished walking for about four hours. The attractions are relatively good around the entrance of the mountain. The scenery on the mountain is average. It can only be said that if it is just a place where the city people want to find a nearby spring, it is also qualified. It’s not worth a trip from other cities.
There are not many people who go in March. You can take a taxi directly to the door. It is not very far from Xijindu. The air on the mountain is very fresh. The environment is very good. It is suitable for working people to relax on weekends. Have a good time and will come again next time. ~
Nanshan Scenic Area (Nanshan Tourist Area) for short, Nanshan Scenic Area, is located at No. 98 Zhulin Road, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, 2 kilometers away from Zhenjiang City Center. It was developed and built in 1980, with a total area of 13.2 square kilometers. Nanshan's cultural history can be traced back to the Song Wu Emperor in the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Many famous scholars and celebrities have lived here and visited, and have been known as "Misty and Rainy Nanshan" and "Urban Mountain Forest". Nanshan Scenic Area is distributed by Wenxin Pavilion, Xuelin Pavilion, Tingyushan House, Hupaoquan, Zenghua Pavilion, Reading Station, Yuqi Pavilion, Bird Out Pavilion, Lingongquan and other attractions. Nanshan Scenic Spot of Zhenjiang City is now a provincial natural scenery protection unit, a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot, and a provincial scenic spot.
Ctrip can only book adult tickets, children's tickets cannot be set, this time for children to set adult tickets, children's tickets 15 yuan, did not go to the visitor center to buy children's tickets. Mainly climbing, there are several mountain roads are steep, climbing laborious, a mountain road is connected to a mountain road. Climbing with children is a huge cost.
Suitable for special soldiers travel! After walking three mountains and one ferry in a day, the route is Jinshan Temple - walk to Xijindu - take a taxi to Jiaoshan - bus to Beigushan, the time is a bit tight, if Jiaoshan is arranged in the first one, it may be better ~
