Photos of Qijiang Park

Qijiang Park is a theme park rebuilt on the former site of Yuezhong Shipyard in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. It has introduced some Western environmentalism and urban renewal design concepts. It is a successful example of the protection and reuse of old industrial sites. The park was completed in October 2001. At the end of 2002, it won the annual honorary design award of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the 2003 China Architecture Art Award.
