The landmark of a city represents the temperament of the city. There are hundreds of churches in Zurich, the most striking of which are the three churches standing on the banks of the Limmat: the Twin Towers Cathedral, the Cathedral of Our Lady and St. Peter's Basilica. Half of the temperament of the city of Zurich emerged from the three churches.
