Lindenhof Mountain, 428 meters above sea level, is 25 meters above the Limmat River. Under the dense linden tree, a sculpture, a pool of clear springs, a huge chess board, more than a dozen benches, and many tourists constitute the entire park. In the picturesque and beautiful country, it is at best a civic square. Climbing up the hills is not so much a visit to the park, but also a condescending view of Zurich city. Standing by the stone fence of the park, the clear Limmat River flows under your feet, and the cathedral, city hall, and polytechnic university on the opposite bank are vivid and unobstructed. The scenery is unique here!
Standing by the wall of the park, you can overlook the Limmat River flowing through Zurich and the city on the other side of the river
Magical hilltop that opens up to magical views of Zurich. We got lost looking for it but glad that we pushed on.
Lindenhof is one of the most beautiful place. It is so close to downtown. I really recommend anyone who needs any recommendation.
Go to spot overlooking the Limmat river and the Zürichberg.
