This is generally a really good place to see birds, and the wildlife drive is very pleasant. Summer is tougher in this regard, but even yesterday there were lots of birds, including 100s of waterfowl....
Big viewing areas along State Rd 15 as well as a nice auto loop tour. Not only saw many birds (including migrating sandhill cranes), but also a herd of elk. Great way to spend a morning!
