Keeping boats on it is an excellent use of this muddy ground. It will be even better when the tide comes in and the boats can bob about a bit, handy for both town and sea.

Attractive small harbour in a picturesque setting.
The harbour is at the mouth of the estuary close to the beach. Great views of the mountains and the long railway bridge spanning the water.
