Calm in an ancient city

This is a very well preserved ancient fortress, with lots of information and beautiful pictures to show and explain just how the people once lived there. On a quite Sunday morning it is lovely to see.

Well spent afternoon

We combined the visit to the remains of the ancient fortress of Byala with visiting the Gorica Zoo which is not far away. It is a small archaeological site where the remains of a late antiquity fort...

No fortress to be found.

It is a parody og the name. The view is nice though and some ancient wine making techniques can be seen. Waiste of money.

Well worth the 5BGN

It is a small archaeological site towards the Cape St Atanas. We enjoyed learning about the history. The murals depict a happy population until it was burnt to ashes in AD 614.

Not the most interesting place

We visited many more interesting places during our Bulgaria trip. This place didn´t impress me much. There is still a good view down to the sea in one part.
