Over The Top!
Like everything in the palace itself, this was designed to impress....but just King Ludwig II as no other dignitaries came to visit! It does turn on and off, so wait a bit if it's not shooting water.
Spectacular
When I first clapped eyes on these two fountains in front of the main facade of the palace, my first reaction was "way too big, and out of proportion." This said, they are rather like the palace itsel...
Very Nice
Located just in front of Schloss Herrenchiemsee, this fountain depicts Fama's victory over evil and depicts her blowing a large horn while on top of a horse with men falling to their death off the top...
Dark fountain
Another big fountain is Fama Fountain. It is on the left side of the castle. Handsome showers rise from time to time.
