    Cathedral with special ceiling

The cathedral has gothic features and the Mudejar ceiling made of cedar wood from the island is amazing. Many historical items to see in this lovely cathedral, peaceful and tranquil.

One of the oldest buildings on Madeira

Small by cathedral standards and very plain on the outside, beautiful and peaceful inside. Free entry, but a selection of items to purchase if you wish.
