If you are in Faial do not miss going to this museum. It is low cost and as we are seniors it was 1 Euro each. It was time well spent. We were there about an hour and it is a short walk from the Hot...
Jesuits
Church built for the Jesuits in the 17th century. Very rich in the inside decoration, the most prominent church on the island. The same convent complex houses the Horta museum.
Great ajulehos!
Beautiful tile compositions. The church itself is attractive with its appearance. The interior, by the way, is quite primitive!

A beautiful and majestic church that overlooks the place. Access is possible because this is open. The heart, though very loaded is to see.
