The yabura tree is 10 fruiting in the moon.
Original Text
Yalab is an evergreen tree that is often used as a street tree along with red and Fukugi in the Okinawa region, and has a thick trunk and a lot of leaves. It can be seen when heading from Ishigaki city through the Miyara River to Ishigaki Airport. Especially near the Miyara River, it has grown greatly and you can take a walk and slowly observe the big trees.
Yalab is a tropical and subtropical evergreen tree called Terihaboku, another name. It was also a street tree along the national highway between Ishigaki Airport and the city area where the remote island terminal is located. Especially, the trees lined up near the Miyara River are famous. We visited at the beginning of 10 month. In the gaps in the green leaves, there were many brown fruits about the size of ping pong balls. It's a characteristic fruit along with the characteristic trunk of a rugged tree.
I headed to the Miyara River to see the Hirugi forest and this yalab tree line. This yalab tree line is a tree-lined road with a total length of hundreds of m on the promenade near the Miyara River. As others have written, this row of yalab trees continued in a longer range as a street tree along the national highway connecting Ishigaki Airport and the city. We visited Ishigaki Island at the beginning of 10 Moon. It seems that it was time for Yalab to bear fruit, and there were many brown fruits about 3cm in diameter.
It is a tree-lined road that lasts quite a long time on the way from the city to the airport by taxi. There are trees on both sides, and cars can pass between them.
I usually watched it from the bus window when I moved from the airport to the city, but this time I took the time to walk and watch it. The sidewalk is well maintained, so it's easy to walk, and I thought it would be good to walk leisurely and watch it sometimes.
