If you walk in the direction of the library in Kakegawa Castle Park, you will find an old brick building that remains just north of the red bridge in the park. It is an old library located on the premises of Dai Nippon Hotokusha and inherits the teachings of Kinjiro Ninomiya.
I heard that Hotokusha was built to convey the teachings of Kinjiro Ninomiya. The place is located on the site of Dai Nippon Hotokusha near Kakegawa Castle. It is a building with a retro feel, although it looks only like it.
Hotoku is taught by Kinjiro Ninomiya, and Dai Nippon Hotokusha practices Hotoku. It seems that Dai Nippon Hotokusha was established in Kakegawa City because Saheiji Okada, who was taught by Kinjiro Ninomiya, was a person of Kurama, Kakegawa City. The main gate engraved with the moral gate and the economic gate is built in the Meiji 42 year, symbolizing the teachings of Hotoku, aiming to create a society in which morality and economy are harmonious. The front auditorium was built in Meiji 36 and is one of the largest modern Japanese-style buildings in Japan.
Hotoku Library in Kakegawa. It is located on the premises of Dai Nippon Hotokusha. The old building conveys the feeling of Showa. I think it's better to see it together with the large auditorium.
I think it's the auditorium of Dai Nippon Hotokusha. It was a historic building, and the profound atmosphere that made me feel the times was wonderful.
