The tomb of the temple に Three generations of the Taishi Gong のお

    Original Text

About 15 minutes walk from Ofuna station. Unlike the temples around Kamakura Station, it has a taste that is not touristy. However, although it has a long history, it is a venerable Zen temple that was founded in front of Kenchoji Temple, although it is a Kenchoji school. Since it is not touristy, press the red stamp at the temple office near the mountain gate.

    Temple near ofuna station

    Original Text

It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from the east exit of Ofuna Station and take a bus. The principal image is Amida Nyorai. There is also a ceiling painting drawn by Yukinobu Kano in the small main hall. It is a very well-equipped and quiet temple.

You can see the statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva once a year.

    Original Text

It is located in this ofuna, a little far from Kamakura. I think people who come to this temple for sightseeing really like history. Every year, you can see a wooden seated statue of Manjuri Bodhisattva at the Manjuri Festival on January 25th. There is also a picture of "Unryu" written by Yukinobu Kano on the ceiling of the Buddhist temple. It is a legendary dragon that this dragon goes out to drink water every night, and the floor of the hall is creaking, so if you fill your eyes, it stops going out.

    It's a calm space.

    Original Text

I walked along Mt. Rokkokumi and stopped by on the way to Ofuna Station. It is said that there is a tomb of Yoshitaka, the eldest son of Yoshinaka Kiso. The mountain gate and Monjudo have a thatched roof, but they have an atmosphere. It's a small precinct, but you can see that the plants are in good condition. It is a quiet temple where tourists do not come.

    I feel rusty and lonely.

    Original Text

There are many famous temples from Kita-Kamakura to Kamakura, but I learned that there are temples within walking distance from Ofuna Station. This is also a long-established temple where you can feel the rust and loneliness of Mr. Hojo's construction. It was built before Kenchoji Temple, and it is said that the founder of Kenchoji Temple lived there.
