A masterpiece of sights Bird Observation and gravel ride in Izunuma Uchinuma
Original Text
Izunuma Uchinuma can be enjoyed all year round as a paradise for wild birds. From October to February, birds fly from far away Siberia. Among them, the maximum number of magans exceeds 100,000, and the appearance of flying with the sunrise is a masterpiece. There is also a cycling course around Izu-Numauchi-numa.
I visited in August, and the lotus festival was held, so I could take a pleasure boat around the swamp. The big pink flowers were beautiful. It is a swamp registered in the Ramsar Convention and seems to be famous as a land for waterfowl.
In the autumn and winter season, it is a rest spot for the magans from Russia. The scene where about 100,000 birds fly all at once with the sunrise every morning is better to see it once in a lifetime ❗❗ It is an impact that cannot be forgotten by excitement ❗ By the way, the lotus festival is famous. I want to recommend ❗❗
It may be due to the season, but there are many aquatic plant sediments and the water depth is shallow, and it will dry and change into a marsh in the not-so-distant future. That's why it's a suitable place for waterfowl to grow. When I visited, I could observe the duck flying.
On the way from Sendai to Iwate Prefecture, I visited the migratory bird rest area I wanted to see once ❗ Since it was daytime, I went out to the surrounding fields and saw not many waterfowl in the swamp, but at dawn and in the evening, You will see quite a few magan and swans ❗ The facilities that can be observed are also wonderful, so you can observe it comfortably ❗ Magan that plucks the ears after cutting the rice will be a picture ‼
