It is a facility that exhibits dolls located in Nakano City. There are quite a lot of things made by local artists, so it is recommended for sightseeing.
You can experience painting clay dolls. Not only local clay dolls, but also many clay dolls of unique zodiac and Hina dolls throughout Japan were exhibited.
I walk quite a bit from Nakano city. Exhibits a collection of clay dolls such as the local "Nakano doll" and "Tategahana doll". Kintaro, Ebisu-sama, Oiran, Chinese and Japanese military commanders. It was quite spectacular because it was simple but also had a mysterious and artistic brilliance.
It is a specialized museum that exhibits 2000 clay dolls, including traditional Nakano dolls with a history from the Edo period and tachigahana dolls with a history from the Meiji period, right next to Shinshu Nakano Station. You can see new earth dolls by contemporary artists from traditional works. The admission fee is 200 yen.
