It is near Wakasahiko Shrine. If you ask for a visit, you can see valuable cultural properties such as the statue of Amida Nyorai (designated as important cultural property) enshrined in the main hall, the Maitreya Bodhisattva and the Fudo Myoo (both designated as important cultural property). After that, you will be guided to a garden called "Mandala Garden" that makes use of the slopes of the mountains, but it is also called "Hana no Ji Temple" because it is a beautiful garden designated as a national scenic spot and various flowers bloom.
The predecessor of this temple is an old temple called Gokurakuji. After many changes, the temple name was changed to Mantokuji in the year of Keicho 7 (1602). The highlight of this temple is the nationally designated scenic garden.
