Closed due to road construction as of 22 June 2021
We were looking forward to checking out the Lookout Tower but the road leading to the Tower was being used as a staging area and parking for the construction crew.

On our way to Beartooth pass , we saw this firetower WAAAAY up on the mountain top...I'm sooo glad we turned in to check it out. Its a fairly good climb, probably 2!/2 miles and steep in some places ...

Why they list this as Cooke City I am guessing it is because it is the closes town, but by no means is it right near town. It is off the Beartooth Highway. If it is a n ice day it is a good one way tr...

easy to drive past , but don't miss this
