As shown in the picture, the East Park and the West Park are divided into Tucson City. Each park is normally visited by car for about an hour (not including hiking). If the time is not enough, the West Park is preferred. The west garden is mainly tree-shaped cactus, non-paved road, the park is relatively more desertification, the east garden hardened road, more like semi-desert desert green land, all kinds of desert plants are more abundant, the park is also more open. The attached picture shows the East Park Visitor Center and the East Park Entrance (also a charging office, no cash), and the West Park can go to the Visitor Center first and then to the entrance (not at all). Tickets for two places are 25 yuan per vehicle. Because the tree-shaped cactus is not available in China, mainly in the US-Mexico desert, I think it is worth a look.

A nice ride through the desert. more Cacti and critters than can imagine. It’s about a 35 min loop if you drive slow and at the end there is an informative visitor at the end with gifts and lots of info.
visited this National Park in spring 2022, loved the place, those gigantic Saguaro cacti are awesome, they come in different shapes and height!
Cactus National Park is located in the southeastern part of Phoenix and is adjacent to Tucson City. It covers an area of more than 2000 square kilometers and is divided into two parts, East and west. Cactus National Park was established in 1938 to protect the cactus species. There are 25 different types of cactus in the park, the most famous of which is the giant cylindrical cactus, the king of desert. The cactus grows balls in 5-10 years, blossoms in 60 years, branches in 100 years, peaks in 150 years to growth period, and then gradually withers. The vigorous cactus can even live to 200-300 years, and its color turns black. The wild species that inhabit the park are snakes, scorpions, turtles, owls, boars, eagles and so on.*
Saguaro National Park is located near Tucson, Arizona, USA. It was planned as a national memorial area on March 1, 1933 and promoted to a national park on October 14, 1994. The Park protects part of the Sonoran Desert. Its name comes from the giant columnar cactus known as "Saguaro" that grows in the desert.
