The water tanks are a reminder of when the region was being populated, along with the railroads. It's a nice little place for pictures.

Water towers

Interesting if you are in the city center but really worth going out of your way to see. The trains by the river are also in this area and provide a pretty view of the Madeira River

the Three Maries

this is the symbol of Porto velho city. The old caixas dágua from the Devil´s Railroad era are located in a central square named after them.
