After a 2 day drive and a small plane tour of the Nazca line in Peru, we were happy to have seen these ancient hieroglyphs for miles on a dirt/gravel-maintained road. One that doesn’t require high clearance vehicles. We did it on Mercedes-Benz cars. Slow down, it's worth it. Set the speedometer to zero at the junction of 10 ＆ 95 outside Blythe California. There was a Shell gas station convenience store with clean toilets and Baja Fresh, where we had lunch after intersection 95. On a paved highway about15.5 miles north of intersection 10 and 95. About 1 mile away, there was a tall metal sign " GIANT DESERT Figures" and a 500-foot marker.
