A gem of a place to visit for the whole family !Something for everyone! A delightful walk around the perimeter, fly fishing for some of us, and an on site cafe! Recommend for a family day out.
WI Walk
Went with a WI Walking group. Excellent gravel path all round the lake. Excellent cafe, prices reasonable and service efficient even when busy

Magnificent lake with lovely level and dry walk
Took the dogs for a walk, had a few children with us. Despite signs up saying dogs to be kept on a lead, we saw lots of dogs running free and lots of dogs' mess, mainly at the entrance to the circular...
Found it!!
First attempt,road closed.But got there next day.Beautiful place with a Dam in the far corner of the Lake.4k+ Walk/Run around the lake on a good surface path.Plenty of Birds ,Wildlife and Farm animal...
