Awesome Lake to walk around
Very pretty with views of the mountains, the hiking trail i s very family friendly. The water was crystal clear.
A beautiful lake
Hiking around this lake was a great way to start a visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We'd catch views of the lake and the mountains around it, especially Lassen Peak. It was a pleasant hike and ...
Great place to visit; avoid the cabins in the park
Nice and not a huge crowd; Be sure to visit Bumpass Hell. I didn't like was bed in the cabin at the park. Thin mattress might of well slept in my truck.
Maybe the best view in the park.
There is an easy hiking trail around this lake...but we did NOT hike that trail. We just went to the spot with the most amazing view of Lassen Peak across the lake with the reflection of the mountain ...
Reflections
We walked around Manzanita Lake, which was an easy mile and a half. This is a really beautiful lake, and we got some great pictures of reflections in the lake that day, in spite of the haze in the air...
