Beautiful manmade waterfall/spillway
Friends took us up a winding mountain road to enjoy viewing this unique stair-stepped waterfall. The underlying structure gives the falling water a frothy look and an intriguing sound. There is no c...
Spend as long time as you can once you go there. Its beautiful silky water screen is something that you won't get tired of. A little problem is that there is no public transportation to access the dam...
It was a difficult place to go. I couldn't reach it without a winding narrow road and a navigation system. There was Shirasui Falls and Shirasui Dam, and there was a happening that I was going to go to the dam, but I went to the waterfall. I went there because it was introduced as a superb view in the guidebook. It's a beautiful place, but it was a smaller dam than I expected. It's good to go if you have time, but I honestly felt that I didn't have to go specially when I thought about the difficulty of going.
The curtains of the flowing water are very beautiful!

Shirasui Dam I've always wanted to visit. When I actually go there, I'm convinced that its beauty is the best in Japan. You can watch the graceful flow of water without getting tired of it. This time, I would like to see it from the left bank route, which is currently closed due to construction.
I learned later 々, but it is in a very quiet place and the beautifully shaped running water forgets time and looks at it. It was a rare shaped dam with different channels on the left and right. However, it seems that it is officially a reservoir. The view while listening to the chirping of the birds was also pleasant!
