There is history, but there is only one preservation situation of the facility.

    Original Text

There is no parking lot along the prefectural road, but there is Tenmangu shrine nearby, and it takes 5 to 6 minutes to park in the parking lot and walk. The well is active and water is springing, but it is surrounded by a cheap net, and there is a simple explanation board other than small torii-like objects and wells, so I didn't think it was carefully preserved as a tourist resource.

It seems that the well located between JR Yahama Station and Tsuneyama Station is a place where historical figures are gratitude.

It was near Tenmangu Shrine, which is said to have been visited by Sugawara no Michizane! !!

    Original Text

It was near Tenmangu Shrine, where Sugawara no Michizane visited. It is said that the place where he found a place where spring water came out on the coast and wrote one poem is the well of Usui.

    Mekong Sanctuary

    Original Text

There is a bill on the site. It is said that it is a spring water that Sugawara no Michizane, who was relocated in 901, stopped by for drinking water when he went to Dazaifu. At that time, the area was the sea, but it was dried only around the well. It is probably the divine power of Suga, who found spring water from such a place, that makes a legend. It can be added to one of the ruins of Suga Kosho. However, the site was along the road and it was hard to find.

A well that springs in the sea

    Original Text

When Sugawara no Michizane landed on the way to Dazaifu by boat, he found water springing out on the sandy beach. I set up a well and a torii gate in that place.
