    Enjoyed our visit to Tongeren

    Impressive statue however they were renovating the pedestal in preparation for Kronings Day starting on2 July 2023. We learnt about this Ambiorix King in the museum

    Impressive statue, right in he middle of Tongeren's city centre

    This well known statue is situated on the Graanmarkt, Tongeren's main square in the city centre. Ambiorix, King of the Eburones, is a tribute to his memorable victory over the Romans in 54 BCE.
