Toyohashi City Public Hall, built in Showa 6 to commemorate the anniversary of Toyohashi City System 25. The designer is Mr. Yosukehira Nakamura, who worked on the main building of Shizuoka City Hall and the head office of Shizuoka Bank. Immediately from the tram stop "City Hall Mae". Built in 1931, it is designated as a national registered tangible cultural property. Designed by Yosukehira Nakamura. In Shizuoka Prefecture, where Nakamura was born, some buildings he designed still exist. The Toyohashi City Public Hall is made of reinforced concrete, and you can feel the profoundness of the public hall built in the early Showa period. With a symmetrical design, the roof of the tower on both sides of the entrance is dome-shaped, and the shape of the eagle is placed to protect the dome ...
