It is very cool to see the statue while traveling around Trier. It's placement reminds me of the Christ Statue in Rio de Janeiro but of course this statue is not as big.

Lovely viewpoint for the old town of Trier. It’s a good 25 min hike but energising! I recommend taking water with you - there is nothing by means of coffee shops on the way

She overlooks the city but you can't see her up close

If you are going to see the Madonna I'd say not worth it. You cannot get a view of her from the back of the statue and if you stand back you can only view from the side or behind. The overlook of the ...
