Exploring Kaneda Fortress Ruins and Stone Walls
The trail leading to the Kaneda Fortress ruins through the picturesque mountains offers a leisurely hike, taking approximately 5 hours to complete. The views of the ocean and the surrounding landscape...
It is a castle ruin built in preparation for attacks from Tang and Silla in the 7th century and is a national special historic site. There is a battery ruin near the top of the mountain, but the view from Shiroyama (top) a little higher from there is beautiful. It seems that you can go ahead with the battery ruins and tour the shrines on the coast.
