I went around here for work, so I just passed in front of the base. Certainly, there are no actual combat aircraft, and there should be only training aircraft, but I like the airfield, so I was happy to see the runway.
Air show
I went to the air show at Shizuhama Base for the first time. It was a very local air show, not as much as I expected.
Urban area of Yaizu
It is the base of the Air Self-Defense Force in the middle of the city of Yaizu. Quiet green without training. A beautiful Mt. Fuji floats over the vast site.
Air Festival
I went to the air festival. There was food and color 々, and beer was also sold ～ I think it would be nice if you could enjoy the air festival.
Jingyi Base Aviation Festival 2018
I visited at the Shizuhama Air Base Festival. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes by shuttle bus from Yaizu Station. I arrived in the morning, but it was already crowded with a lot of people. In addition to the Self-Defense Forces goods stalls, food and drink stalls, there are many temporary toilets, so you don't have to worry. You can enjoy not only exhibition flights but also stage shows and sales of products. After watching all the programs, I lined up for about 30 minutes to get on the shuttle bus.
