werduy:“This is a great historical location. Of course I am into the ruins and all that entails, but regardless fun! Kissing the stone does require you to hang update down over the castle wall but it iscompletely safe. The grounda are beautiful andpeaceful. We came on a rainy day so crowds may have been smaller due to that. Be sure to plan for a few hours to see as much as possible. Easily 4 or more.”
Irene_WeeSpoon:“It seems that this is not the only Wallace monument. If I remember correctly, there is also one in London. Wallace is a national hero of the Scottish people, but my husband said that movies are just movies after all, and that image cannot truly represent their hero. Well, I still don’t understand. . .”

Ash_bd2uk:“I recently visited Edinburgh Castle with my family, and it was an amazing experience. Set high on Castle Rock, the panoramic views over the city are breathtaking. The castle is packed with history – from the Crown Jewels and Stone of Destiny to the magnificent Great Hall. The exhibits are well-presented, and the audio guide brings the stories to life. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. While it was busy, there’s plenty of space to explore and capture great photos. Walking through the castle grounds felt like stepping back in time, and the mix of history, architecture, and scenery is truly impressive. A must-see in Edinburgh – perfect for families, history lovers, and anyone who wants to experience Scotland’s heritage up close. We left with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for this iconic landmark.”
M32***23:“Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park is one of Scotland's best wildlife attractions, with more than 350 rare animals and exciting entertainment for families. You can drive through the animal reserve and get up close and personal with zebras, camels, rhinos, antelopes and even lions. Swim with cheeky monkeys on the famous Macaque Drive-Thru, but don't forget to close the windows! You can also walk with lemurs in Lemur Land and take a boat to Chimp Island to visit the most amazing animals that are most similar to humans. For active children, there are giant star slides, naughty castles, flying foxes and pedal boats. Don't miss the indoor sea lion show and outdoor bird of prey show!”
M32***23:“A must-visit for fans of American dramas!!! The first stop on the day's tour was Doune Castle. This charming 14th-century castle has a high status in the film and television industry, so it should be very easy to recognize. Doune Castle has appeared in the filming of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. In addition, the castle was used to represent part of Winterfell in the first season of Game of Thrones - Winterfell, the ancestral castle of the Stark family, as the capital and center of power in the North, witnessing the glory and disputes of the Stark family, the king of the North, for generations. At the same time, this castle is also the fictional Castle Leoch in Outlander.”
苏河家园:“Edinburgh Old City, England, is surrounded by medieval stone buildings and beautiful scenery. Edinburgh is not only a financial town, but also a palace of art. Walking on the street, you can see entertainers' happy performances everywhere. This is the origin of traditional Scottish dress skirts, the blend of art and life makes people linger, it is worth a visit.”
coo***an:“The Bannockburn Heritage Centre tells the history before and after the Battle of Bannockburn, in which King Robert the Bruce led his men to defeat the English army on June 24, 1314, establishing Scotland's long-term national status.”
Monkeyo:“Highlights: The two 30-meter-high horse head statues made of steel sheets are spectacular yet delicate, and are perfect for taking photos all day against the backdrop of the surrounding open space; Disadvantages: The parking lot in the park is charged and fills up quickly in good weather or on weekends, but you can park at the nearby Falkirk Stadium and then walk through Helix Park to visit.”
