环游星空的歌者高登:“1. It is said that Aksum is the origin of Ethiopian culture and has a history of more than 2,000 years;
2. Although there are many sites in the city listed as World Cultural Heritage, most of them are in ruins. The only attraction is the Obelisk of Axum;
3. The entire site group is charged together. There are 7 sites in total. The ticket price as of December 2018 is 300 birr, about 60 yuan. If you are really interested in the history of the Aksumite Kingdom, I still recommend you to hire a tour guide, otherwise you can't even find the specific location of these sites. Some of them can't even be found on Google Maps, let alone visit;
4. If you just want to see the obelisk, it is free.”

sky5lady:“There are 11 churches carved out of a rocky mountain, which is a miracle in architectural history and a world cultural heritage of Ethiopia. It only takes one hour to fly from Addis Ababa to Lalibela. The ticket is $100, which is a bit expensive. Since you have flown here (the air ticket is also expensive), you might as well take a look.
In fact, if you don’t find a tour guide and walk around the town by yourself, you probably don’t need to buy a ticket. All the churches are open-air and you can see them all. It’s better to take pictures outside, there is nothing to see inside. The main theme of the interior decoration is thrifty [laughing and crying R]”
