Dr BP:“Sadly almost completely destroyed in an earthquake a few years ago, it is slowly being rebuilt.A few hours drive from Kerman in the South-Eastern part of Iran, getting very near the Pakistan border. Gets hideously hot in Summer and freezing cold in Winter, so make sure you're prepared.Hotels in Kerman can arrange taxis to take you out there and back, plus some of the other sites along the way for around $50 for a full day trip.You're way off any type of tourist trail out in a place like this.”
