PKU小雅:“The Hisor Fortress in Tajikistan is the most famous historical site here. The introduction says that it has a history of 3,000 years and is an important military fortress of the Bukhara Khanate. The existing fortress buildings were mainly rebuilt in the 16th and 17th centuries, including the city gate, mosque and the ruins of the Madrasah. Hisor was once an important trade and cultural hub on the Silk Road, connecting Central Asia with South Asia. The fortress gate is one of the symbolic buildings of Tajikistan. Transportation: I took a "taxi" from Dushanbe to visit, and it took about three hours round trip.”

juki235:“The Tajikistan National Museum of Ancient History in Dushanbe is one of the better history museums in Central Asia. It houses the largest reclining Buddha in Central Asia, with a very simple and elegant carving technique. The rest of the exhibits are mainly pottery, and there are some ancient books, which, although somewhat simple, fully reflect the history of Central Asia and are worth visiting and learning.”
