I've never stayed in a school residence before, but with my frequent travels, I eventually got tired of staying in hotels and motels and decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately, my arrival was not smooth. My Lyft driver dropped me off at the wrong building, and I had a lot of luggage with me. There weren't many students around since it was summer, and no one I asked could give me clear directions to the correct building. When I finally arrived, the front desk told me this apparently happens quite often with Uber/Lyft drivers. My first impression of the residence was that it was quiet and clean. Unfortunately, the elevators had broken down about 20 minutes before my arrival, something I likely would have avoided had I not been dropped off at the wrong building.
Front desk staff member Jessica kindly helped carry my luggage up to my room on the 4th floor. I assume this was not part of her job, and I really appreciated her help. In fact, nearly every front desk staff member I encountered during my stay was exceptionally kind and helpful, more so than staff at some upscale hotels I've stayed at.
The unit looked smaller than it appeared in the photos, but that's almost always the case, and I still had more than enough space for my needs. The bedroom had very high ceilings, which helped the room feel open and not cramped. Only two hangers were provided, but I travel with folding travel hangers so it wasn't an issue. The large desk was especially useful since I work remotely. The bed was simple but clean, and once I figured out which pillows worked best for me, I slept well.
The kitchenette was dated but clean and included a microwave and a full-sized refrigerator with a freezer. The empty refrigerator was somewhat unstable and would shift forward slightly when opened, but otherwise I had no complaints.
The bathroom was small, especially the shower stall. Water pressure was good and drainage worked well. My main complaint was the shower curtain, which was so long that it frequently blocked the drain. The sink also drained slowly. The towel rack was loose, and the towels were thin and smelled strongly of vinegar, but they were clean and absorbent.
The residence was generally quiet. The walls seemed fairly thin, although no worse than many hotels. There was nearby construction early in the morning, one instance of drilling at 7 AM, and a child crying each morning for a couple of days. None of it significantly affected my stay.
I usually keep my home between 19-20C, yet I often found myself cold in the unit and ended up turning off the AC most of the time.
The gym on the 4th floor was clean and quiet, although I think cleaning wipes and hand sanitizer should be available. Access also required a staff member to unlock the door, which seemed unnecessary since room-key access would make more sense.
There is also a communal kitchen with a stove, oven, and full-sized refrigerator. A movie theatre, games room with a pool table, and meeting room are also available. The only downside is that most amenities require staff assistance for access.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience. The building was clean and generally quiet, the room provided everything I needed for a working stay, and the staff delivered excellent service. While there were a few minor maintenance issues and some inconveniences regarding amenity access, none were significant enough to negatively impact my stay. Most importantly, I enjoyed my stay enough that I've already decided to return.

Came to Toronto for a conference and booked this apartment a few days in advance. It wasn't cheap and didn't include breakfast, but I chose it for its proximity. I didn't have high expectations, but after checking in, I felt it was excellent value for money. It's on the 44th floor, the highest level with a balcony, and the sky is directly overhead – the view is perfect! I just felt the safety could be a bit better, as it's completely open.

Pros: The hotel is in a good location, within a five-minute walk of the Toronto CN Tower and Rogers Centre. The room is quite large, and it is not a problem for two adults and two children to stay. You can buy some food and cook. The equipment is complete. There is a Starbucks downstairs, which is very convenient. There is a large 24-hour supermarket on the corner. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the main attractions. Cons: Full self-service check-in, no cleaning. You have to wash your own towels and take out the trash yourself. Overall, it is worth staying

I want to start by saying how happy I am that the host let us check in an hour earlier since it starts at 5pm instead of the regular 3pm. This is an Airbnb type of place that requires you to put a $450 deposit for a one night stay which I thought it was very high. The location is amazing, walking distance to the CN tower and restaurants.
It is a very cute place except for the cleanliness. The place was DIRTY. We decided to not use the shower because it was full of mold and hair (picture attached), there was hair everywhere! We saw there was a washer and dryer but the washer was full of towels that yet needed to be dry so we decided not to use. There were stains in the bed sheets so we decided to lay some of our own towels on top to sleep. We also decided to not touch the kitchen because the burner was broken and we did not want to cause a fire or something like that. Over all, it was decent for a one night stay but they need to fire the cleaner because I believe it is an easy fix to be a better place to stay.

Overall, location is perfect walking distance to every major place, including train station (union). The view is impressive you can see the lake with sunrise surrounded by many buildings giving you city vibes.
The room may a bit look older than the pic but every amenity is fully prepared as said (if some doesn’t have you can contact and they will bring it for you as soon as possible)
The bathroom doors may a bit hard to open if you have long nails.
However, I’m pretty sure I left my stuff in the room and immediately contact to take it back, although, the owner said the cleaner couldn’t find it even I specified the location to them. I don’t know if it looks valuable for them as it’s a ring (even it’s a cheap one and more like a sentimental value to me) Anyways, the coordinator seems to be very helpful.

We stayed in a studio unit with a kitchen and living room. Dining ware and utensils are not included, but the hotel can provide them for a fee. This setup is great for travelers planning an extended stay and wanting to prepare their own meals. Unfortunately, there is no washer or dryer in the building, so you’ll need to find a nearby coin laundry.
We chose this hotel for its location and convenience. The bus stop is within walking distance and takes you directly to Finch subway station. The included breakfast was also pretty decent.

Guest UserFor the amount of space you get, this place is an excellent bargain. We had two bedrooms (each with a large desk, desk chair, TV, and cabinets), a kitchen area, and bathroom all for a very low price. The whole space was very clean and well maintained. We would have appreciated if the kitchen was a little more stocked, at least with a few cutlery, cups, and plates. We booked this place because we were flying out of Toronto airport the next day, and since our flight was later in the day, we were hoping we could store our luggage in the lobby and explore the area a bit. However luggage storage was not provided, and the receptionist didn't have any suggestions on other options. Otherwise we had a great time relaxing in our rooms, and appreciated the great desk space and comfortable beds before our flight.

The hotel left a very good impression. The location is excellent – everything is nearby: the city center, shops, and restaurants, all within walking distance. The room was clean and tidy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials for cooking, which was very convenient. The fast check-in via the app was a big plus – quick and hassle-free. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable for relaxing.
Things to improve (room 902): some furniture (for example, the wardrobe) felt a bit old, although it was clean and functional.
