PPARAS RABRAWarm welcome by receptionist. Awesome service. Quality and service at par excellence. Very much near to train stations. The Best Western was perfectly fine for my one-night business trip to Melbourne—clean enough and very well-located. My only real complaint is that basic amenities were missing; there was no toothpaste or bottled water in the room. It didn't ruin my stay, but adding these simple comforts would go a long way for short-stay guests.

GGuest UserVery clean, nice renovated rooms with all amenities including microwave. Very comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of luggage space. Coffee/tea/sugar and biscuits. Each room has it's own designated parking. Reception woman was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying again soon

GGuest UserThe location is superb, as expected from YHA. The building is old, and the room layout and facilities are a bit inconvenient. There isn't a single hook in the entire room, making it feel like there's nowhere to put anything. The simple Western-style breakfast was okay, but some of the dried fruits might have been close to their expiration date.

GGuest UserThe room comfortably accommodates 6 people with three double beds, and the bedding is very clean. Each floor has a desk with charging points. The WiFi speed is decent. Breakfast includes sandwiches, toast, milk, coffee, cereal, and unlimited drinks. There's also a gas stove, which is great if you like to cook your own meals, like boiling an egg. The living room on the first floor is spacious enough for dozens of people to have meetings or chats. A major plus is its 8-minute walk to Southern Cross Station, located right in the city center on King Street. **Environment:** Quiet, safe, and convenient. **Cleanliness:** The bathroom is very clean, gets daily cleaning, and has no unpleasant odors.

KKam Ning CheungThe service is very good and the location is nearby Ballarat Station. It takes about 20 walks to Sovereign Hill. And there are too many restaurants next to there, such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Chinese restaurant and Indian restaurant .

GGuest UserI've stayed at the Admiralty Inn a number of times in the past and usually the stay has been good. On a previous stay earlier in the year, and as I was packing to leave, there was a knock on the door saying 'Housekeeping'. The time was 9.40am (checkout is at 10am) and I just felt I was being pushed to leave. I let it slide at the time as i wasn't far off packed and ready to leave anyhow. However, on my most recent stay in May it was taken to a whole new level. Having in mind my previous experience, I decided to place the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. My thinking being that this should mean that I wouldn't be disturbed until the 10am checkout. At 8.09am, yes I checked the time, the door to my room opened, no knock no warning, and the housekeeper is poking their head in the door. Whilst I was awake I was still in bed though, but what if I had just jumped out of the shower and no clothes on? The housekeeper did make a hasty retreat saying sorry but I just feel that's not good enough, especially as I had the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door and almost two hours prior to checkout. It makes me wonder if any one else has had a similar experience. When you book a motel room you do expect a reasonable level of privacy but I am now very hesitant to stay at the Admiralty Inn again as I feel I cannot be guaranteed any privacy at all. In saying all this, I was tempted to leave a poor or bad review, but I settled on average as the room itself was adequate for the price. All things considered I think my rating of average is more than fair.

EEmel CoppenLovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!

GGuest UserI think the facilities are worth the price. There were two outlets next to the bed, but one of them couldn't fit because of the width of the bed rail and the size of the plug. I paid $6 for towels when I checked in, and got $5 back when I checked out.
