Excellent service, good car and economical, very easy to pick up and return, as well as the entire process. The staff's attention was a 10/10. The only downside to the rental is the long delay in returning the deposit; I'm still waiting, and it's been two weeks since the contract was signed, and everything was fine when I returned the car. Aside from the deposit refund, everything else was wonderful.

Carwiz was just within short walking distance to the right after you exit the airport. Collection was smooth and the staff went through the entire car with me, spotting all the existing scratches and defects. Everything was documented. They encouraged me to take up their insurance of €90 which I declined because I have purchased a 3rd party insurance through Trip.com which I purchased this rental booking. For that, they have to hold a €800 authorization charge to my credit card which they refunded after I returned the car without any incidences. A word of caution for petrol. Certain gas stations on Santorini are scamming stations. I experienced it myself when I requested the Pump Attendant for €20 of Octane 95, my fuel gauge didn’t increase but instead, it dropped! And after I shared this with my hotel front desk, apparently this is a common act on Santorini. Please check with your hotel on which are the reliable gas stations on the island and stick to those.

Great! The paperwork was done at the arrival counter, and the car was conveniently located just outside the airport. The car was brand new, and they upgraded me to an electric car for free, saving on fuel costs. My deposit was refunded an hour after I returned the car.
