The 2024 Phuket Vegetarian Festival (also known as the Nine Emperor Gods Festival) will be held from 2 to 12 October 2024. The dates change every year as it is based on the Chinese lunar calendar. The festival is one of the more famous traditional festivals in Phuket, Thailand. During the vegetarian festival, participants wear white clothes, yellow headbands, and carry various artifacts and props along the main streets of Phuket. Participants perform various performances such as piercing their faces and bodies with swords, performing fire burning and stomping, and other incredible rituals. The festival begins in the evening of Wednesday, October 2, when all participating shrines raise the "lantern pole". The Emperor God is said to descend from the pole to the shrine at midnight.

It&#39;s a great itinerary. Besides the stunning beaches of Phuket, you can bring your kids here to feed the elephants and enjoy a cup of coffee. You can sit in the cafe and see the elephants outside. You can pet the adorable elephants up close. There&#39;s even a three-year-old baby elephant, who&#39;s super cute. And there&#39;s a really fun guide, Brother Pichai, who&#39;s very enthusiastic and eager to show you around as soon as you enter the park, just like your neighbor. Highly recommended.

It was so much fun! We took our eight-year-old and a friend who&#39;s afraid of heights, and we all had a great time. The equipment was a bit smelly, though, as it seems like it&#39;s never been cleaned. Afterward, you can grab a coffee there; the cafe is fantastic!

Every attraction was fun. You can&#39;t bring any food or drinks into the park, including mineral water. You can bring your own water bottle. The food in the area is a bit overpriced and the taste is average. Lockers are 200 baht per day, and there&#39;s only one size available.

So much fun. It started on time and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Front three rows were drenched by the time it ended so I was so happy I was somewhere at the back. The dolphins are so cute and the show was really interesting. Really great for kids but adults can enjoy it too, I did. You can take a picture with the dolphins for 500baht. The seal&rsquo;s performance is done right at the beginning, also super cute.
