The Oriental Pearl Tower is the most dazzling candied haws on the Bund! Three big balls are strung on the 468-meter-high tower. When the neon lights are on at night, it instantly turns into an alien base.
The 263-meter main sightseeing deck can see Shanghai in 360 degrees. The Huangpu River becomes a small earthworm, and the Jinmao Tower becomes a short winter melon. People with acrophobia should be careful, as the transparent glass plank road under your feet will make your legs weak in minutes!
There are little surprises hidden in the tower: the 78-meter &quot;More Shanghai&quot; ring-shaped multimedia show is so cool, and the underground Old Shanghai Exhibition Hall has moving wax figures and retro trams.
Although the revolving restaurant is expensive (400+ per person), it is worth the money to eat and watch the Bund night view!
It is recommended to climb the tower in the evening and get the daytime and night views at once. Do avoid holidays, and the queue starts at two hours!
