🥁It was rainy in Tengchong during National Day. I got up early and went to the morning market in Qiluo Ancient Town. I highly recommend it. Then I went to Heshun Ancient Town. A reminder for friends who have been there: after navigating to the scenic area parking lot, remember to queue on the right to take the sightseeing bus to the entrance of the ancient town. It&#39;s free. I originally thought there was a fee and wanted to try walking there, but the rain was a bit heavy and the distance was not very close. I felt like it was about a kilometer. I turned back to buy a ticket for the sightseeing bus, but it was free. That&#39;s awesome. There&#39;s no fee for round trip~

Tengchong Rehai Scenic Area is China&#39;s only 5A-level volcanic geothermal scenic area. Its core attraction is its high-temperature hot springs, geothermal wonders, and unique geothermal experiences. Admission is 50 yuan, and a visit of 1-2 hours is recommended. The best time to visit is in spring and autumn (March-May or September-November).

The scenic area is primarily focused on geothermal landscapes, with key attractions including:

Big Boiling Pot: A 6-meter-diameter boiling pool (96-102&deg;C). Here, you can try steaming eggs (10 yuan for 3 eggs), creating a swirling &quot;earth soup pot.&quot;

Pregnant Well: Composed of Dragon Well and Phoenix Well, the 88&deg;C alkaline water contains rare trace elements and is drinkable (it&#39;s recommended to bring an insulated cup).

Pearl Spring: A heart-shaped pool with bubbles rising like pearls, perfect for photo opportunities.

Admission and Transportation: 50 yuan; Bus No. 6 direct access (4 yuan/person), approximately a 20-minute taxi ride; parking for self-drive vehicles (10 yuan/hour). &zwnj;&zwnj;
Next to it is the Xianren Hot Spring, a natural hot spring known only to locals. The large pool is 20 yuan, and private baths are 60 yuan. It&#39;s well worth a visit.

I drove here in the morning on October 3, 2025. The parking lot is quite large. I arrived around 10 am and there were still some spaces. The entire park is well-designed. You can take a battery car or ride a horse. The battery car only goes to the foot of the mountain. It&#39;s okay to walk up, but it&#39;s a bit uncomfortable to go down. You can see a huge crater when you go up. The hot air balloon is still worth taking a ride, but whether you can get one depends on luck. It usually closes at 11 am.

I recommend buying a package ticket so you can experience everything. Taking the boat alone costs 60 one-way per person, while the bamboo raft costs 70 one-way per person, which is quite high. We originally didn&#39;t plan to take the boat, so we bought separate tickets. Later, when my family couldn&#39;t walk anymore, we ended up taking the boat instead, which was a bit of a loss.
The entire scenic area is beautiful, especially on a clear day.

Although I bought the entrance ticket, there are many courtyards in the village that charge a fee or allow taking photos, which is too commercial. Apart from this, the scenery and atmosphere are still good.
