After the Summer Siege of Osaka, Osaka under the Toyotomi period underwent a major transformation as the Tokugawa clan rebuilt the castle and developed the surrounding area, becoming the foundation of modern Osaka. The castle tower burned down in the mid-17th century, but Osaka Castle continued to be loved by people for a long time, and was called "Kinjo" (Spring Castle) and "Hanajo" (Flower Castle). 400 years have passed since the reconstruction of Osaka Castle. This exhibition will provide a three-dimensional interpretation of the castle's form during the Tokugawa period and the town that existed alongside it.
The Honmaru Palace existed in Tokugawa Osaka Castle until the end of the Edo period. This palace was built as the residence of the Tokugawa Shogun and was decorated with partition paintings by the Kano school. This exhibition will display detailed replicas (1/10 scale) of the Great Hall and the Copper Palace of the Osaka Castle Palace. Please enjoy the works of Kano Tan'yū, which were used as reference materials, materials related to the construction, and a folding screen depicting Osaka in the early Edo period.

There weren&#39;t many highlights. It was a reconstruction of an old building, which explains why there were so many modern architectural details. There was a lot of explanatory material, but not many original artifacts; it seems that apart from the foundation, there&#39;s not much from the Toyotomi Hideyoshi era.

The extra stone museum ticket wasn&#39;t really worth it. You just go in, look at the pile of stones from the foundation, and then leave. The Japanese are really something&mdash;they managed to put together an exhibition of such a small amount of material.

I had a lot of fun. I bought the triple pack where you can &quot;dive and walk,&quot; slide, and go to the observation tower.I wanted to do it in that order, but due to the language barrier and not clear directions on where to go I slid first, then observation tower, and I did &quot;dive and walk last.&quot; If you want to dive and walk first then you need to bring your QR code to an office which is about 1 min from the tower. In that office you change into your harness and helmet (and that&#39;s where you bring it back too). I loved the experience and the tower, I just would have liked to have done &quot;dive and walk&quot; first. Regardless, I had fun and recommend it.

Near Tennoji in Osaka, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Osaka&#39;s night scene from 300 meters high. You can see the sunset around 5 pm. Afterwards, go to the garden on the 16th floor of the building. The building is a complex that integrates restaurants and shopping malls and is worth checking out.
